Ólafsfjörður

While flying from Seattle to Iceland, we could see the Aurora from our plane,
hovering, dancing in the night sky.
After arriving in Reykjavik, we traveled from dawn until dusk by bus.
Across vast fields where one can see for miles, into the midst of the fjords,
where no man roams.
We cut through these mountains by narrow, far stretching tunnels.
Now, we are on the other side.  Lost in a language of the Norse folk,
bewildered by the most powerful beauty.
